Almiron AR is a food for special medical purposes, designed from birth to manage mild to moderate reflux/regurgitation in infants (not suitable for preterm babies or those with GERD) . Nutricia’s formulation uses natural thickening agents alongside breastmilk-like micronutrients, offering both nutrition and digestive support.

Key Features:

• Locust bean gum (LBG): a natural thickener (carob seed flour) that increases the viscosity of feeds to help milk stay down in the stomach.

• Oligosaccharide blend scGOS/lcFOS (9:1) and HMO-like postbiotic 3′‑GL to support gut microbiota and softer stool consistencyComplete micronutrient profile including DHA/ARA, nucleotides, vitamins, minerals, and adjusted protein/casein ratio to EU guidelines for infant formula

Usage Instructions:

1. Wash hands and sterilize feeding tools.

2. Boil water and cool to around 40 °C.

3. Use only the provided scoop; level each scoop carefully, do not pack or compress.

4. Add water first, then powder; shake vertically for at least 10 seconds to dissolve fully. Feed immediately, and discard leftovers after 2 hours .

5. Ready-made feed thickens over time—prepare immediately before feeding; use faster-flow nipple size for infant comfort

6. Once opened, consume within 30 days; store in a cool, dry place (below 25 °C) away from heat or humidity .
