Dextrolyte Plus Sachets

DEXTROLYTE PLUS is a particular nutrition product which belongs to the category of electrolyte-dextrose solutions for rehydration oral treatment. Dissolved in water it provides a solution of mineral salts which balances the body’s water and mineral salt loss caused by diarrhea.
Its composition is approved by the World Health Organization for the treatment of dehydration.

Packaging: 10 sachets. Each sachet contains 260,00mg Sodium Chloride, 150,00mg Potassium Chloride, 290,00mg Trisodium Citrate, 1350,00mg Dextrose (glucose) Anhydrous.

INDICATIONS:

DEXTROLYTE PLUS is indicated for the prevention and treatment of electrolyte disorders and dehydration caused by diarrhea.

USE:

Empty the contents of one sachet in a glass. Add 100ml of water (approximately half a glass), dissolve stirring with a spoon and drink the solution.
Dosage: The solution should be administered at frequent intervals and the solution volume should that which the patient can tolerate.
The dosage for the treatment of dehydration, according to the World Health Organization is determined as follows:

Infants: 1lt DEXTROLYTE PLUS solution / 24 hours
Meaning: 10 DEXTROLYTE PLUS sachets dissolved in 1lt of water/24hours

Children: 1lt DEXTROLYTE PLUS solution / 8-24 hours depending on the age.
Meaning: 10 DEXTROLYTE PLUS sachets dissolved in 1lt of water /8-24 hours

Adults: No limitations. The solution can be taken as needed.

Continue dosage until diarrhea stops completely.
