HOW IT WORKS:
When you stop smoking or reduce the number of cigarettes you smoke, your body starts to miss the nicotine. You might experience cravings in the first few weeks or sudden urges to smoke over a period of months.
Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT) products like Nicorette® InvisiPatch help protect you from day to day cravings.
When applied, the InvisiPatch nicotine patch releases a reduced level of nicotine through the skin and into your body, helping to relieve cravings. The patch doesn’t contain the same toxic chemicals found in cigarettes. You won’t feel the same buzz you get from smoking, but you should notice you crave cigarettes less.
And it doesn’t just fight cravings. The Nicorette® InvisiPatch can also help prevent other nicotine withdrawal symptoms, such as: Irritability, Low mood, Restlessness, Anxiety, Poor concentration, Increased appetite.
HOW TO USE:
Use as part of the NICORETTE® invisi patch step down programme.
10 cigarettes or more per day:
Week 1-8 Step 1: 25mg patch
Week 9-10 Step 2: 15mg patch
Week 11-12 Step 3: 10mg patch.
Less than 10 cigarettes per day:
Week 1-8 Step 2: 15mg patch
Week 9-10 Step 3: 10mg patch
Week 11-12 Step 3: 10mg patch.
For adults and children 12 years and over: Apply the patch to a clean, dry area of the skin in the morning and remove the patch 16 hours later.
Nicorette Invisi 25mg patch is used to relieve and/or prevent withdrawal symptoms and reduce the cravings you get when you try to stop smoking or when cutting down the number of cigarettes you smoke.
It provides a safer alternative to smoking for both the individual and those around them. Ideally you should aim to stop smoking.
However it can be used in a number of different ways, either to completely replace all your cigarettes, or if you do not feel ready to stop smoking completely, to replace certain cigarettes and therefore help you to cut down the number of cigarettes you smoke. It may also help increase your motivation to quit.
