Novalac AD

Novalac AD is a specialized infant powder formula intended for temporary use during moderate to acute diarrhea, suitable from birth up to 3 years. It supports rehydration, energy supply, and helps restore stool consistency through a blend of electrolytes, banana and apple puree for taste, and easily digestible carbohydrate sources—all while avoiding lactose and sucrose which may aggravate diarrhoea symptoms

Key Features:

• Lactose-free, sucrose-free, gluten-free formula—minimizes osmotic load during diarrhea

• Low osmolarity, high electrolyte content (sodium, potassium, chloride) to promote rehydration and support nutrient absorption

• Rapid-energy carbohydrates: banana/apple purees, maltodextrin, glucose, fructose for easier digestion and better appetite acceptance

• Stool-normalizing effects: manganese, zinc, and rice starch fiber help firm stool texture and reduce frequency

• Contains probiotic Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG—associated with reduced duration of diarrhea

• Banana-apple puree flavour enhances palatability during feeding aversions

• Protein source: cow’s milk caseinate, partly hydrolyzed rice protein—no β‑lactoglobulin or soy protein for lower allergenic risk

Usage Instructions:

1. Sterilize feeding equipment and boil drinking water.

2. Cool to ~40 °C before mixing.

3. Add the correct number of leveled scoops (about 4.3 g per 30 ml water) into the bottle, according to the feeding table by age

4. Shake or stir until powder fully dissolves. Feed within 1 hour of preparation.

5. Store the tin sealed; use within 3 weeks after opening and always in a cool, dry place
