Gaviscon Liquid help relieve symptoms from acid reflux, heartburn and indigestion. The formulation has been constructed to ensure it doesn’t enter the bloodstream. It’s suitable for pregnant women, and has the lowest sodium content in the Gaviscon Range.
How Gaviscon Advance works
Gaviscon Advance forms a protective barrier that helps keep stomach acid from rising back up the oesophagus (food pipe).
We know how disruptive heartburn and acid reflux can be, which is why Advance is designed for long-lasting relief (up to 4 hours)- to help you get on with your day.
Gaviscon Advance’s extra strength formulation has twice the concentration of sodium alginate – forming a strong and resilient ‘raft’ in the process.
The liquid formulation does not contain sugar or gluten and can be taken during pregnancy or breast-feeding.
What’s more, Advance has the lowest sodium content of any product in the Gaviscon range.
Active Ingredients
Dosage & Instructions
For oral use. Shake well before use.
Adults and children 12 years and over, take 5-10 ml (one to two 5 ml spoonfuls)) after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.
Children under 12 years: Should only be taken on medical advice.
If symptoms persist after 7 days, consult your doctor.
